About JD

 John R Dodds PB,  (CCIM) is the Broker/Owner of Kona Investment Properties, LLC.  JD attended Washington State University received a Bachelor of Science Degree. JD moved to Hawaii and started his real estate career selling timeshare condos and participated in Magoon Estate's and Hawaii's first ever lease to fee conversion of 7 major high rise condominiums in Waikiki. 

JD later moved to the Big Island and earned his Real Estate and Mortgage Broker licenses along with the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, the "PHD of Real Estate". A CCIM has access to a unique network of top commercial real estate tools and professionals around the Globe.

In 1996 John started Kona Mortgage Inc. with his wife Wendy Dodds and utilized both real estate and mortgage brokerages services. We called it our "Find and Fund Program", a one stop solution. We would find the right property for our clients and fund their loan at the right rate as well. This one stop service was fairly new on the Big island at the time. More recently JD has focused on general real estate activities. John's closed sales transactions total over $100M.
